Short Biography

Clarence left a lucrative career in the Information Technology corporate sector after 18 year tenure, to follow a path in the massage therapy healing arts.

Clarence graduated in 2007 from the Canadian College of Masage and Hydrotherapy (Toronto Campus).

In 2022 Clarence relocated from Ontario to transfer his RMT registration to British Columbia.

Clarence’s interests, training and clinical experience are diverse.

Though he has a concentration in Athletic Sports Massage, Clarence has numerous additional certifications including:

  • Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) Levels 1&2
  • Nerve Flossing
    IASTM/M2T Blade (Graston Alternative)
  • Cranio Sacral Therapy (No longer offering)
  • Thai Yoga Massage (No longer offering)

  • Low Level Laser Therapy (Cold Laser – Ontario Only)

When not working with patients, Clarence has a personal passion for fitness/gym.

Clarence treatment goals are to help assist his clients to heal themselves, not only with hands on techniques, but also he is a collaborative participant in the healthcare of each patient in his practice. He is a big proponent of providing his patients with home care exercises and tasks.

Practice Highlights include:

  • Clarence graduated from CCMH in July 2007
  • Clarence was a Massage Therapy Instructor with Trillium College in 2014-2015
  • Clarence was selected to be on the 2015 PanAm Games Sports Med Therapist team.
  • Clarence has treated professional athletes from such teams as the NHL Thrashers, Rangers and CFL TigerCats, Redblacks, UBC U14 Tennis Juniors Tournament, Canadian Olympic Athletes as well as WWE NXT and Impact Wrestling athletes

My name is Vida, I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC).I hold a Masters in Counselling Psychology (MCP) from CityUniversity of Seattle, a Bachelor’s in Clinical Psychology from overseas. I am a member in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and a full member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) since 2015.

My approach to counselling is relationship focused, strength based,encouragement , holistic, spiritual, and intimately connected to humanistic philosophy of living.Providing clinical counselling services for individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with a variety of life challenges such as depression, anxiety, work related stress, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, mood disorders,stress,relationship issues,anger management ,academic counselling ,career development counselling ,and more.

My goal is to provide you a safe space to process all that preoccupies you in order to live an authentic and meaningful life. While being present, gentle, curious and open, I strive to identify the areas in your life that need care and attention.
